The second Douglas Country Courthouse in Omaha, NE was completed in 1885 to designs by Elijah Myers of Detroit.  The courthouse was outgrown by 1908 and the current Beaux Arts courthouse was constructed by 1912.  Myers primarily designed public buildings, including state capitols (Michigan, Texas, and Colorado), county courthouses, and city halls across America.
